f/Calc is a calculator for photographic formulas. These formulas are at the heart of many interesting questions about the technical side of photography. You could compute these functions by hand, but they range from tedious to difficult, even with a good scientific calculator. When you let f/Calc do the hard work, you gain an intuitive feel for what the results mean, because you can quickly try new input values to see how they affect the result.

License
The Windows version of f/Calc is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License. The Palm OS version is shareware.
Registration
You may click the button at right to begin the registration process for the Palm OS version of f/Calc. It currently costs $8, and the key you get will work for any 1.x version. If I should come out with a 2.x version with a higher price, you will be able to upgrade for the price difference. Payments are handled by Paypal. You can pay via your own Paypal account, or you can use a credit card or bank transfer if you don’t have a Paypal account and don’t want to set one up.
Important note: Paypal will let you send me a short note along with the payment. Include your Palm user name in this box, as I need that to generate the key. You can find your user name in f/Calc’s Registration Info dialog box, on the Settings menu. Case is significant in the user name — "Martin Van Buren" is not the same thing as "Martin van Buren", as far as my key generator is concerned.
Upon receiving notice from Paypal that you've paid the registration fee, I generate your key and email it to your Paypal address. This usually happens within 24 hours. The main exception is if you do an eCheck through Paypal, since a bank transfer usually takes several days. If you pay from a Paypal balance or with a credit card, that part of the transaction is instant, and so the delay is just the time it takes me to get around to checking my email. :)
